About pickleball

Fitoverse builds pickleball courts for clubs, apartments, schools and turf owners: single courts, rows of courts, and pickleball lines on existing tennis courts (one tennis court holds four pickleball courts). Courts are surfaced in acrylic, silicon PU or TPE interlocking tiles on a level, drained base, including terrace courts after a slab check.

Pickleball court FAQs

What is the size of a pickleball court?

The court itself is 44 ft × 20 ft (13.41 × 6.10 m) with a 7 ft non-volley zone (the kitchen) on each side of the net. Singles and doubles use the same court.

How much space do I need for one pickleball court?

At least 54 × 26 ft (5 ft run-off at the ends, 3 ft at the sides); the recommended pad is about 64 × 34 ft. Keep about 6.5 ft between courts side by side.

How many pickleball courts fit in my land?

Courts are usually built in rows: 2 courts side by side need 44 × 40 ft of playing area, 4 courts (2 × 2) 88 × 40 ft and 8 courts (2 × 4) 88 × 80 ft, plus run-off and the space between courts. Try our court designer to see the exact fit for your land.

What is the pickleball net height?

36 inches at the posts and 34 inches at the centre.

Which surface is best for a pickleball court?

Acrylic gives a seamless, textured surface with adjustable speed and cushioning. Silicon PU adds an elastic layer for comfort. TPE interlocking tiles are modular, quick to install and easy to expand.
