Padel Courts with Glass and Mesh Enclosures, Built for Clubs and Academies
Updated

Quick answerA padel court is 20 × 10 m (66 × 33 ft, about 2,180 sq ft) inside glass and mesh walls 3–4 m high. It needs no run-off inside the enclosure; keep a 2 m (6.5 ft) service path between courts. Fitoverse builds padel courts with sand-filled artificial grass on a drained base. Fitoverse, with offices in Salem, Chennai and Bangalore, builds padel courts across India.
About padel
Padel is a doubles racquet sport played inside a glass-and-mesh enclosure, where the walls are part of the game. Rallies are long, the court is compact and the sport is easy to pick up, which makes it one of the fastest-growing sports for clubs, schools and residential communities. A padel court is 20 × 10 m with walls 3–4 m high, so it fits where a tennis court will not. Fitoverse builds padel courts on a level, drained base with sand-filled artificial grass and a steel frame holding tempered glass and welded mesh, ready for floodlights.

Padel court FAQs
What is the size of a padel court?
A doubles padel court is 20 m × 10 m (66 × 33 ft). A singles court is 20 × 6 m but is rarely built.
How much land do I need for a padel court?
The enclosure itself is 20 × 10 m, so a single court needs a little over that for the frame. For several courts, leave about 2 m (6.5 ft) between them for a service path.
How high are the walls of a padel court?
3–4 m (10–13 ft): tempered glass at the ends and the first part of each side, welded mesh above and along the middle of the sides.
What is the padel net height?
88 cm (34.6 in) at the centre, rising to 92 cm at the posts. The service line is 6.95 m (23 ft) from the net.
Which surface is used for padel?
Sand-filled artificial grass is the usual surface; it gives grip, a consistent bounce and drains after rain. Acrylic is also used, mostly indoors.
